Launching the Make in India Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated his govt’s commitment to progress and development. Inviting the industries, he said that we need to “Look East and Link West”. Emphasizing skill development as critical to growth, PM said that unless local talent is promoted progress cannot be sustained.

Prime Minister said the Make in India is not a slogan but everyone’s responsibility to make it a success.

Emphasizing the importance of  Prime Minister Modi said that India needs both highways and iways (Info Highways). Saying that Make in India is the responsibility of people of India, Prime Minister said that we need the spirit of ” First develop India(FDI) and also Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). Prime Minister emphasized that a closer partnership with States must be ensured for sustainable growth and progress.

Various prominent national and international industry leaders attended the programme to launch the campaign along with Ministers, senior officials, Ambassadors and opinion leaders.
