“PHD-MSME”, free Android App for MSMEs launched  

“PHD-MSME”, free Android App for MSMEs launched  PHD-MSME App for MSME sector, developed by Team DAPSR, an initiative of PHDCCI with the help of Delhi University students, has been launched by the Govt. “This is a one stop information centre for the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises.”, says the developer. It makes available all the latest events, news, schemes in one place by various organizations including PHDCCI, NSIC, NIESBUD, SIDBI and MSME Ministry. The app was launched at the PHD Chamaber Innovation Summit 2014 by MSME Minister Shri .

There are 48 million in India contributing around 65 per cent of GDP and generating employment at much cheaper capital cost than large Industrial units. MSMEs account for 40 per cent of exports in India.

Information on Finance, Marketing, Training, Schemes and relevant news on MSME sector is available on the app. The app, a first of this kind, is designed to help entrepreneurs, startups, innovators and MSMEs to provide relevant information at the touch of a button.

The App is seen as an important tool in creating an ICT environment for MSMEs and fast dissemination of relevant information among the stake holders worldwide.

Though still at an initial stage, the App would be very important tool for MSMEs as one stop solution for information on Finance, Marketing, Schemes, Training, etc

How to download the App

The App can be downloaded easily through Google Play Store in your Android phone.

  1. Open the Play Store in your Android mobile
  2. Go App search
  3. Type PHD-MSME
  4. Select the App and click on the download button
