With a mission to seek investments, Telangana Minister for Information Technology and Panchayati Raj Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) visited Dallas, USA. Addressing a public meeting KTR referred to massive investment opportunities in Telangana in projects like T-Hub (Technology Hub), the largest incubator for startup companies in Hyderabad where investors can invest directly in startups and be part of the development and training process.
Referring to Telangana Drinking Water Project where 10 million households will get potable water, KTR said that the initiative requires investment of Rs 38,000 crores. He appealed people to sponsor a village, mandal or a district for the initiative.
The minister met investors and global CEOs and explained the investor-friendly process of single window clearance for setting up industries in the State. Companies signed MoUs worth $225 million to be invested in the coming two years. The investments are expected to generate 3000-4000 jobs in Hyderabad and Telangana.
